For your confirmation, you are going to need to choose a Saint. There are literally 1000's of Saints in the Catholic Church. Look around your homes, I guarantee there are images of some saints your parents have. Mary's husband, St. Joseph, Our Lady of Guadalupe, are examples. Your job, between now and when you come back from break, is to pick a saint and we will discuss. Watch the following videos and visit the following websites to help you pick a saint. Choose a saint you would look up to. For example, if you love animals, St. Francis of Assisi is the patron saint of animals. If you like sleeping a lot, St. Vitus is the patron saint of Over-sleepers. What ever job you think you would like, look up who the patron saint is of that job, and that might be the one you choose. There is no right or wrong answer. This is the saint you choose.

2.) Do Catholics Worship Saints?
Write a 1 page paper, you can type it out, on why you chose this saint. This goes to the bishop. The bishop always collects the letters and reads them all to see why you chose this saint. Not due until the end of lent.
